Almost a year ago we announced this assignment, of key importance for both the environment and urban development, which was financed partly by the investor – BKM Budapesti Közművek Nonprofit Zrt.'s FŐTÁV District Heating Division – and partly by KEHOP funding (Hungary's Environment and Energy Efficiency Operational Programme). We are proud to have been part of the programme to improve air quality in central Budapest, joining an effort that also contributes to a better quality of life in our capital.
Throughout the project we met the high expectations and specific requirements of the investor, the district's residents and the authorities alike. As part of the district heating upgrade on the section between Erzsébet Bridge and the Dorottya Hotel, we installed a DN 250/400 pre-insulated district heating pipeline system on Apáczai Csere János utca. In total, the project delivered 735 m of new, modern trunk main together with the associated structures.
Thanks to a precise definition of the scope and the professional approach of our team, we completed the work to the high quality expected of us — and ahead of the contractual deadline.
