Installation and piping of the process equipment in Hankook Tire Magyarország Kft.'s new tyre plant, to supply the equipment with raw and auxiliary materials and energy, including the necessary permitting procedures and commissioning. Complete building services construction and commissioning of the separate staff, testing, kitchen and administration buildings inside and outside the plant's main production hall.

Preparation of permit designs and shop drawings; installation of process and auxiliary equipment. Construction of the process and auxiliary piping systems, including valves and fittings: softened water, filtered water, cooling water, domestic water, instrument oil, lube oil, natural gas, steam and condensate, and compressed air systems. The piping for the heating, cooling and air conditioning systems was also part of the work. The cold and hot lines received closed-cell thermal insulation and the steam and condensate system received rock wool insulation, with PVC and aluminium sheet cladding.
About the facility
The plant's current tyre production capacity is significant on a European scale. To ensure flawless operation, we installed approx. 80,000 metres of process piping in sizes from DN 15 to DN 800.
The plant's main units form a closed production process that turns raw materials into finished, tested, ready-to-use tyres: mixing, calendering, cutting, extrusion, testing, and warehousing and logistics.
The plant buys in water, gas and electricity as well as the raw materials for tyre production. Its complex operation is supported by internal energy supply systems, steam boilers and compressors.
Flawless operation requires air-conditioned interiors, for which a dedicated cooling, heating and air conditioning system was built. Next to the production hall, blocks with modern, high-quality building services were built to support production and efficient working.
