To improve air quality in the city centre, BKM Nonprofit Zrt. decided to upgrade the district heating pipelines in the inner city. As a partner of FŐTÁV, our company was awarded the design and construction of the network upgrade in Apáczai Csere János utca, on the section between Elisabeth Bridge and the Dorottya Hotel.
Work started in June 2022. We built a total of 735 running metres of new, state-of-the-art DN 250/400 pre-insulated trunk main together with its connections. The project met the high expectations of the client, the district's residents and the authorities, and was successfully completed in 2023.
